I am a Technology Specialist. Focusing on Business Development and Strategy for Medium to large Corporates. Historically, I have worked on every single version of Microsoft Windows (well every network version, let's forget Windows 1 and 2) and connecting disparate systems led me to get intrigued by TCP/IP and DNS in 1993 and here we are.
I still have a shrink-wrapped copy of Windows for Workgroups, which represented a breakthrough for most small businesses - the death knock for several peer-to-peer network vendors and the start of my Microsoft journey. Not forgetting a 10 year detour with LANtastic, DR DOS and rolling out Pathology labs with Novell Netware, OS/2 Server and LAN Manager. All while keeping an eye on Windows NT and Active Directory.
Now, I run a Technology company specialising in DevOps, SysOps and FinOps - essentially business operations requiring technology. I've been taking core samples of technology since computer networking began, constantly reskilling and frankly, I'm blown away by what we can achieve these days. and I know, i know... it could come across as self-indulgent to have my own page. But there's reasons.
Firstly, it reduces dependance on other platforms and secondly, it forces me to regularly review my priorities and how I want to be seen. Works for me.
